Oil separators, sedimentation basins
Destination
Biocent petroleum product separators are flow-through apparatus for burrying in the ground or free- standing. They are either with sedimentation basins or without. Separators are devices with construction allowing to separate and storage light liquids, and oils from sewage. They are used to puryfy rainwater and thawing water from the contaminations in roads, highways, parking lots,storage buildings, fuel distribution points but also process water from car washes and car workshops.
Operating principles
Coalescence separators operate on principle of gravitational sedimentation and flotation supported by coalescence phenomena - connecting smaller particles of oil into bigger ones. Sewage contains mineral suspended matter which sediments due to the sedimentation process and filtration through coalescence matter. The process of keeping and sewage purification takes place in the separation part. Separated bigger particles float towards the surface of the liquid and create an oil layer while the sewage is drained away through the siphon at the outlet.
Additional equipment

Alarm of petroleum products and sediment. Option of pinning into BMS system, and informing by SMS.

Cast-iron hatches, class A15-D400.

Concrete, grp or pehd raisers.

In case of fitting the separator under the floor, we apply hatches for tiling or paving.
