Pumping Stations

Pumping stations Biocent Sp. z o.o. are complete fixtures used in gravitational and pressure sewage systems. They are used for pumping urban waste water either with or without feces, or rainwater or technological water pumping.

Each time all the parameters are adapted to the customer's particular needs, project and the building site conditions. Wide range of components allows us to tailor to all requirements while our planning department is able to choose and design any pumping station.

All fixtures are produced according to the current relulations, and we are one of the few on the market who provide liability insurance valued 2 000 000 PLN.

Tanks

Our pumping stations are built from tanks with all technical requirements and admissions. The materials that are used for the production of tanks:
  • concrete type at least C35/45 (B) Diameter 800-3000mm,
  • reinforced concrete (BZ) ) Diameter 800-3000mm,
  • polymer concrete (PB) Diameter 1000-3000mm, Height up to 10m,
  • polyethylene (PE) Diameter 600-2500mm, Height up to 6m,
  • polyester (GRP) Diameter 600-2500mm, Height up to 6m,

Inlet and outfall connectors are individually arranged.

Piping

Rising mains are made of acid resistant steel. Flange connectors. Optionally a stop valve DN 50mm and a fire-fighting applicator are mounted to be able to rinse the installation. Smaller pumping stations have piping made of high-pressure.

Fittings

Fittings Accoring to the regulations we apply backflow preventers and stop valves to every rising main. Whether we mount valves made of ductile iron or high-pressure PVC-U depends on the model of the pumping station and the material of piping.

Manhole

We offer both passable and nonpassable manholes. Passable manholes are produced from spheroidal graphite cast iron, class D400, either round or rectangular. Nonpassable manholes are produced from stainless steel and are fitted with easy access to pumps. We provide an option of steel manhole with insulation.

Additional equipment

Access Platform

According to the regulations every pumping station which is over 6,00m high must be equipped with an access platform for the operational support. Our platforms are made of acid resistant steel. These are tilting constructions allowing unrestrained pump dismantling.

Ladder

Just like the rest of the elements, the ladder is made from acid resistant steel (stainless steel) to prevent corrosion.

Additional equipment

Screenings Basket

Pumps in some venues are endangered with having contact with contaminations which cannot be pumped. This results in pumps' breakdowns and clogging of discharge pipes. We are meeting the needs of our clients and therefore we offer screenings baskets mounted at the inflow of the pumping station. Baskets are in guides simplifying the emptying. All construction is made of acid resistant steel.
